I'm photographing Alyssa and Blaine's wedding in May 2010, and here are photos from their engagement portrait session. We started at the Palmetto Collegiate Institute in Lexington, SC, where they will have their wedding reception, and then we moved up to Pine Island on Lake Murray. Fun couple!

Photo Booths!

I am excited to offer photo booths in addition to any package! The Bride and Groom (and their guests) get the photo booth for four hours at your reception. Two technicians will arrive before your reception, assemble the photo booth, and be near the booth at all times to offer assistance, should it be needed. Your guests are welcome to take as many photos of themselves as they like, and can even include a message to you via an included marker board. The camera shutter is triggerd by your guests by a foot pedal inside the booth.

The Bride and Groom receive all the files on a disc, in addition to them being included on their web gallery and DVD Slide Show! Guests can also receive a 4x6 of themselves as they exit the booth if you like.

I photographed Anna and David's engagement portrait session at Rising Hopes Park in West Columbia Monday morning. It was cold (about 40 degrees!) but they were real troopers. I also photographed Anna's bridal portraits at the State House, but you have to wait until after the wedding to see those!

They are getting married in May 2009 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and their reception will be at 300 at Canal and Senate, both in Columbia.

What a beautiful wedding! Tori and John got married Saturday at the Columbia Country Club in Blythewood. It was originally scheduled to be an outdoor wedding but, with the threat of rain, it was moved into a screened-in patio. I hung out all day with the girls at the hotel as they got ready, and Tracy got great pictures of the guys getting ready at the Country Club. The reception was nice too, it was also at the Country Club.

Christine & Todd's Wedding Saint Mark's Catholic Church and Reception at the Newberry Country Club in Newberry, SC

My first wedding of the season, Christine and Todd's wedding in Newberry,went really well. The couple was great and very laid back and the entire wedding party and family were all very nice and appreciative. Most importantly, the photos came out great. The only downside was that it was really insanely windy!

The wedding ceremony was at a cute little Catholic church, Saint Mark's Catholic Church near downtown Newberry, SC, and the reception was Country Club of Newberry. The reception was a lot of fun (I hate dud receptions!) and the Bride even insisted I go out and dance while she photographed me. Ha!

A good start to the wedding season!
